We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to undertake a Faculty leadership role in initiating, developing and delivery of faculty level strategic projects.
Provide the Faculty Senior Leadership Team with reporting, analysis, performance and milestone achievements on all faculty level projects. Your attention will be focused on the operational management of significant internal projects backed up by data and enhanced by effective relationship development.
This is a pivotal time for the Strategic Project Manager to support Faculty Leadership implement Taumata Teitei. This is a full-time, permanent (37.5 hours per week) opportunity.
Salary range is between $96,800 – $113,840 based on experience and qualifications.

To thrive in this position, you will need experience with strategic planning which has involved the use of detailed analytics as well as project delivery in a complex environment. You will also need experience and a demonstratable track record of navigating and making progress in complex organisations and/or the tertiary sector.
To be considered for this role you must have a Bachelor’s degree or relevant tertiary qualifications. A Post-graduate research degree would be positively viewed but is not essential. You will be able to demonstrate specific successes and a deep understanding of processes, and the actions needed to implement effective programmes.
You will need technical knowledge and advanced understanding of the Microsoft suite of programmes especially Excel as well as experience with project management tools. A working understanding of the University’s change management, business case, risk management, benefits realisation and project management methodologies would be advantages.
